Wow! Just, wow! These two girls know how to throw a party and with a background in catering and events, sit back and hear all about a perfect day in the land of the beautiful!
Emily and Victoria met about two and half years ago in New York City on a girls night out. A born and bred Brit who plays for the England squash team, Victoria had moved out to the U.S a little while before meeting Emily, the stunning Jewish girl from New Jersey and their mutual friend come matchmaker decided they just had to meet! The rest as they say, is history and the planning began…
For both gorgeous girls, a modern yet rustic feel was very important and they wanted a venue with lots of space and light with an indoor/outdoor feel and walls covered with climbing plants and flowers. They found the absolutely stunning renovated garage ‘Smog Shoppe’ located just west of central Los Angeles and fell in love with the space. It encompassed everything that they were looking for and their perfect day began to take shape! (How much more awesome can a venue get than having huge garage doors that open up the inside space when you need more room!? Unreal!)
The caterers were a very big part of the day as Emily worked in the catering department at the Plaza so it was important that the food was just right. ‘Field-to-fork’ was the idea and ‘Taste of Pace’ went with their rustic theme that was continued with a ‘cheese tower’ acting as their wedding cake and wooden trestle tables arranged for their guests with wild flowers in mixtures of blush, orange, plum and cream and varying candles. Outside they had a fabulous Jewish chuppah which is a beautiful canopy under which they stood for their ceremony which was decorated with gorgeous colourful flowers.
Apart from their stunning gowns by Maggie Sottero and Enzoani, their little dog Pepe stole the walk down the aisle in his mini and perfectly tailored tux carrying the wedding rings – only in Hollywood! Their photographer was from the amazing Cobra Snake who has shot numerous celebrities as well as campaigns for Nike & Lacoste, so they were in good hands throughout the day. Roughly translated to – their photos are freakin’ gorgeous!
Congratulations beauties and thanks for sharing your Hollywood dream – loving this Fairytale ending with two princesses!
